How Can you Win

 

 

¡ K´Atún, the Final Movement !

K'atun, in Maya language means forever, it is a unique event, and it occurs when a player has no chance to escape at the final offensive of his opponent.

 

 

There are four ways to achieve the K´Atún

1.- K´Atún by Capture.

When any piece of a player manages to penetrate the space occupied by the Leader (L) and is captured for the opposing player, without being obstructed other piece (regulation 12).
 

 

 


 

2.- K'Atun to the Temple of the Moon.
When the Leader (L) of anyone of the players reaches the Temple of the Moon contrary in any of its three regulatory movements.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.- K'atun to the Temple of the Sun
When the Leader (L) of anyone of the players reaches the Temple of the Sun opponent in any of its three regulatory movements (regulation 10).
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.- K´Atún by Mak Chahal.

When you get to be motionless pieces of one of the players because their opponent's pieces and his own, it makes impossible to give the three regulatory movements, loses the game by Mak Chahal (which in Maya Language means "hold back") regulations 10 and 14.
