The Board
The temples are represented by circles on the board. The circles near the middle are the Temples of the Moon. On the outer edge of the board, are the Temples of the Sun.
Your goal is to get your leader to either the Temple of the Moon or Temple of the Sun on the opposite side of the board.
The Forbidden Zone
The Forbidden zone is the area behind the ball players in starting position. Ball players cannot enter their own forbidden zone, but the opponent’s ball players may. Leaders may move anywhere on the board.
Starting Position
Set the 5 ball players up in starting position in front of the 3rd line on each side. From right to left it's The Defender, The Captain, The Guardian, then The Attacker.
3 Moves Per Turn
Players must move 3 times per turn. These moves can be played all on one piece or split between different pieces.
Ball players move by flipping over their edges only.
The leader is the only piece that slides.
Ball players may not touch each other during or after movement. If a movement causes a ball player to touch another, it’s an invalid move. As a consequence, the player must still move that piece. Once a piece is touched, it must be moved somewhere.
How To Win
The 4 ways to win are:
1. Your leader reaches the opponent's Temple of the Moon
2. Your leader reaches the opponent's Temple of the Sun
3. You crush the opponent's leader by rolling on top of it with one of your ball players
4. Your opponent is unable to make 3 full moves (rare)
Other Nuanced Rules to Know
Leaders cannot harm each other.
No piece may rest on top of a temple, but they move across them.
Ball players may not make a move that goes outside the perimeter of the gameboard.

The Ball Players
The Defender
The Defender, towering as the largest piece on the board, specializes in building solid defenses to shield the leader and block opponent pieces. With its impressive speed and versatility, it not only protects but also launches swift attacks, making it a powerhouse on the board.
The Captain
Deploy the captain to lead the charge against your opponent's leader. It often takes multiple warriors to block this formidable piece. For optimal offense, support the captain with additional attackers to minimize the risk of obstruction.
The Guardian
Keep the Guardian near the leader for its obstructive prowess. With its bulk, the Guardian excels in blocking opponents, though its offensive capabilities are primarily limited to obstruction.
The Attacker
Thanks to its versatile build, the attacker can strike from various angles within just three moves, covering an impressive span of 34 different triangles. This makes its gameplay primarily offensive in nature.
